A smooth one and half hour bus ride passing rice fields and stopping over the National highway and after tha t we will take the bus to go to My Tho city. Right here, we can ride on a motorboat to join in with the daily activities of the local people, enjoy the atmosphere and then take a cruise on the Upper River (Tien River) to Unicorn Island (Ky Lan). On our way, we will be crossing the fishing port, floating houses, these other Dragon, Phoenix and Turtle islands, visit the orchard garden, bee-farm to enjoy honey tea or you can take photos of a python and then we will go to the coconut candy workshop, you can try special candy have sugar free, coconut wine. The day begins with our experienced tour guide and driver picking you up from your hotel at 8:30 am. We'll then set out on an enjoyable drive to Cu Chi, which is located approximately 60km away from Ho Chi Minh City. This district was a critical site during the anti-American war in Vietnam, and its original tunnel system of over 220km is now a famous attraction that draws numerous visitors both locally and internationally. As we drive through the picturesque rural rice paddy scenery, you'll be able to see ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road, creating a serene atmosphere. It's hard to imagine the destruction, damage, and defoliation caused by bombing and mines throughout the area. Once considered a "Free Target Zone," remnants of the fierce battleground remain visible today, providing evidence of the significant history that took place there. After exploring the intriguing Cu Chi Tunnels and learning about the captivating history of the district, we'll head back to Ho Chi Minh City. At 7:30 – 8:00 AM, our driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to My Son Holy Land- a place that is surrounded by the marvelous mountains, 48km west of Hoi An. My Son was chosen as a religious center, built in the late 4th century under the Cham’s King Bhadravaman. It is a huge religious complex with over 70 towers and temples of different architectures. Wander through the elaborate carvings and sculptures of the Cham people, tourists are welcomed at the Old Tower of the Cham. We will spend 2 hours to enjoy and discover the beauty of Ancient buildings at of the Champa Kingdom with our tour guide. At 12:00 PM we’re leaving My Son to take a boat trip on Thu Bon River. Here, you will see the skilled woodworkers and shipbuilding families who have been practicing their craft for generations. It's a unique opportunity to experience the traditional way of life in this part of Vietnam. You will have soft lunch on the boat and see the beautiful views along the river. The boat trip will finish in Bach Dang Boat station. The tour starts with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter between 7:30 and 8:30 am. You'll be accompanied by a friendly tour guide and driven on a scenic 3.5-hour journey to the stunning Halong Bay, with a brief 20-minute stopover in Hai Duong province. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbor, you'll be welcomed onto a cruise with a refreshing drink. Our staff will provide safety guidelines and a brief introduction to the cruise before you check-in to your comfortable cabin. Lunch is served onboard featuring delicious Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian dishes while cruising through the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring its fascinating rock formations. In the afternoon, we'll visit Pearl Farm, where you can kayak through the breathtaking village, taking in the picturesque surroundings. We'll continue exploring the bay until we reach Titop Island, where you can relax on the sandy beach or hike up to the peak for stunning panoramic views. Once back on board, you'll have time to unwind before joining a delightful cooking class guided directly by the Chef. Get ready for an exciting day ahead, starting with breakfast at your hotel. You'll then hop aboard a Motoremork or Tuk Tuk and head to Koh Darchh Island, where you'll experience the local way of life on the river. From fishing and farming to producing high-quality products sold in local markets, the villagers here have much to offer. After breakfast , we will visit to National Museum, the distinctive red building with a beautiful Khmer architecture was build since 1917 and contains more than 5000 art objects made of sandstone, bronze, silver, copper, wood and others. They are really the cultural treasure of Cambodian and the Royal Palace compound build in 1866 by King Norodom, is the most conspicuous feature and also one of impressive colorful Khmer-style Palaces. Nearside the Royal Palace is Silver Pagoda (The Emerald Buddha temple), display plenty of Buddha Statues that were decorated and made by diamond, emerald, gold and silver. Lunch is at Friends the Restaurant a ‘kindness restaurant’ where ex-street children are trained in hospitality and restaurant skills, helping them to break away from life on the streets. Afternoon will viisit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Then drive to visit the “Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh). Between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and infants (including nine westerners) were detained and tortured at the S-21 prison and transported to extermination camp of Choeng Ek. Visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), the Market has gained reputation for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classic music instrument. After breakfast, you will be driven to the bus station to begin the journey to Siem Reap, which takes around 6 hours distance: 314km ( Without guide ). Pick up from the bus station then transfer to the hotel check in. On the way to hotel, we will stop in front of the King’s Residence to see the Main Shrine, where the local people usually worship, with its statue of Yeay Teap, Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm. Buying jasmine and lotus flowers to worship is very important for the Cambodians. We will continue to "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Spend the rest of time to visit one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chars, also called the “Old Market”, where anything and everything is for sale! Then continue to Wat Bo, a large, highly respected pagoda, founded in the 18th Century. Like the Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh, the vihear of Wat Bo contains unique wall paintings of the Reamker that are said to be late 19th Century. After breakfast, enjoy a full day excursion to discover Angkor Thom and Temples. Firstly, you will visit the wonderful Angkor Thom (the Great City) including the Southern Gate, famous Bayon temple (12th century in the centre of city remains one the most enigmatic temples of the Angkor group composed of 54 gothic towers decorated with 216 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. Baphuon temple is lying just to the north of Bayon a pyramidal representation of mythical Mont Meru. Terrace of Elephants used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall ; Terrace of the Leper King a platform 7m high, with statue and temple walls covered in emerald-green moss intertwined with roots which many deem the most charming of all, Ta Prohm. Lunch is Khmer style in a local restaurant. Regain your energy enjoying a sumptuous Khmer feast near Sras Srang, the Royal Pool of Ablutions, originally reserved for the King and his consorts. Enjoy a spread of great local food followed by a nap lazing in a hammock, or explore to see the traditional way of life and say hello to the Cambodians near here. Afternoon, it is time to visit the wonderful Angkor Wat Temples – one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, as a temple and mausoleum forKing Suryavarman II at the peak of the Khmer empire in the first half of 12th. Angkor Wat is probably the best-preserved of the Angkorean temples, with a central tower surrounded by four smaller towers. The central monument represents the mythical Mount Meru, the holy mountain at the centre of the universe, which was home to the Hindu God Vishnu. The whole complex covers 81 hectares, a rectangular wall measuring 1025 meters by 800 meters borders the inner edge of the moat, and temple's greatest sculptural treasure is its 2 km-long bas-reliefs around the walls. In the late afternoon, visit to the Phnom Bakheng temple, is the first temple in Angkor region build by the Yacovarman I King in the first of 9th century, located on a slope gently hill where thousands tourist are grouping on the hilltop to catch a memorable time of life when viewing the marvellous sunset, the distant Angkor Wat in the jungle. Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before visiting the charming floating village of Chong Khneas, situated about 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Here, we'll hop on a traditional wooden boat to explore the vast Tonle Sap Lake, one of the largest in Asia. It's truly a unique experience that gives you an insight into the daily life of local fishermen and their families who live on the water. Next, we'll head to the "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor," where young Cambodians are trained in the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Afterward, we'll drive to the Pouk district, located approximately 15 km west of Siem Reap town, to visit a silk farm and workshop. You'll witness the entire silk creation process, from growing food for the silk worms to breeding them, silk extraction and refinement, traditional dyeing pattern creation, looming, and more. There's also a retail silk and souvenir shop where you can purchase unique souvenirs. On our way back, we'll stop at the Western Baray (Baray Occidental), which measures 8 km by 2.3 km and was used for irrigation purposes to cultivate lands around Angkor.
