Day by day itinerary

Day 1: Ha Noi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc (L/D)

The tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel in Ha Noi old quarter by a tourist bus that will take you to Hoa Lu at 8AM. The area used to be the capital of Vietnam between the 10th and 11th century and is surrounded by picturesque limestone mountains and rice fields. Although the ancient citadel no longer exists, visitors can still see temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, their sons, and Queen Duong Van Nga. After exploring Hoa Lu, you’ll head to a local restaurant in Tam Coc for lunch followed by a visit to Tam Coc wharf where you’ll board a private sampan for an enjoyable rowing experience through three famous caves in Tam Coc – Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. The caves are adorned with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites in different colors. After exploring Tam Coc, you’ll have the opportunity to ride a bicycle around Tam Coc town and villages before heading back to the hotel in Tam Coc where you’ll check-in and enjoy some free time to relax or visit Tam Coc until dinner time. Finally, dinner will be served at a local restaurant, and you’ll get to enjoy more free time before retiring for the night at your hotel in Tam Coc.

Day 2: Ninh Binh - Cuc Phuong National Park (B/L)

At 8 AM guests on this tour will enjoy a delicious breakfast at their hotel, included in the package. After breakfast, they can take some free time to visit the local market in Tam Coc town, which is famous for its handicrafts, silk products, and food items. Once guests have had their fill of exploration, they will return to the hotel and have breakfast again. The hotel provides a keeping room for luggage storage so that guests can comfortably proceed with the day’s activities without lugging their bags around. A guide and driver will pick up guests from their hotel and transfer them to Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam’s largest national park, covering over 200 square kilometers. Upon arrival, visitors will be taken to the Endangered Primates Rescued Centre to meet rare primates of Vietnam who are rescued and reared. After the visit to the primate rescue center, guests will embark on a trek through dense, grassy, and jungle valleys. The trek involves hiking on forest trails, crossing streams, and witnessing the flora and fauna of the area. A well-deserved picnic lunch will be held under an ancient tree that stands 45 meters high with a diameter of 1.5 meters. During lunch, the guide will provide information about the tree’s history and significance in the park. The remainder of the trek will lead visitors through the picturesque landscape of the national park, exploring the natural beauty, wildlife, and lush greenery. At the end of the trek, guests will return to Tam Coc by tourist bus and retrieve their luggage from the hotel’s keeping room. They will have free time to relax, explore the town or enjoy some refreshments. Later, guests will board the tourist bus for their return journey to Ha Noi. The bus is comfortable and air-conditioned, ensuring a relaxing ride back to the city. The bus will drop off guests at their hotel in the Ha Noi old quarter, ending the tour on a high note with unforgettable memories of Vietnam’s natural beauty and wildlife.
