Our English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter to start the Ha Long Bay Deluxe 1 Day Tour. Please be ready during this time frame to ensure a smooth trip and avoid delaying other guests. Our tour guide and driver will then take you to the Tuan Chau marina via the new expressway Hanoi-Haiphong-Halong, offering comfort and time efficiency. During the journey, you'll get to witness the beauty of the local rice fields, road-side lifestyle and the longest sea-cross bridge, while avoiding commercial shopping centers.
We will visit a pearl workshop on land instead of a floating pearl farm due to time constraints. You'll have the chance to see how pearls are collected and crafted into jewelry by the skilled craftsmen at the workshop.
We'll board the cruise via a private pier and enjoy a welcomed drink served by the crew followed by a briefing from the cruise manager. The cruise will use the expressway to arrive early at Halong Bay, allowing us to explore the bay peacefully before other tourists arrive. A sumptuous set-menu lunch with local flavors will be served while cruising among islets, making you feel like you're in a wonderland.
After lunch, you can relax on the sundeck as we slowly pass by hundreds of islands with different shapes that showcase the natural beauty of Halong Bay. The unique experience provided by Genesis Cruise isn't just about the breathtaking scenery, but also being able to witness it in slow motion.
We'll reach Hangluon (three tunnels) area, where we can go kayaking, rowing bamboo boats, or enjoy sightseeing around the bay. If you choose to kayak or sit in a bamboo boat, you'll get to discover the tranquility of Halong Bay's nature while getting closer to it. If not, you can relax on the sundeck and admire the other beautiful islets around us, such as Human head and Horse seat. This area is usually crowded with tourists and cruises, but our cruise is one of the first ones here in the afternoon, allowing us a quieter and less-touristic experience.
We'll leave the boat and explore Sung Sot (Surprising) cave for around an hour. This least-known cave in Halong Bay is located on a remote island and surrounded by extremely beautiful niches. The second compartment is the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay, known for its curved domes printed in streaks of smooth hats.
We'll take a break and watch the sunset while enjoying afternoon tea with cocktails, fruits, snacks, and egg coffee (included) to create a romantic atmosphere.
We'll disembark the boat and get on the bus to return to Hanoi via the new expressway.
We'll have a short break for 5 minutes for restroom use if needed.
