Day by day itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI. HANOI CITY TOUR BY JEEP (-/-/D)

Our driver will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel (withour guide). Check-in and relax

5:30 pm: Our local guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel located in and around Hanoi Old Quarter.

On the first part of our Hanoi Jeep Tours, we’ll expose you to the REAL HANOI and give you a day-in-the-life experience of the city. We’ll take you through parts of the city that other travel companies don’t usually venture into, including maze-like backstreets, tiny alleyways, local homes, schools, random markets… You’ll get to experience where and how locals live, work, and play.  We don’t just show you the good side, but also the bad and weird sides of your destination. For us, the popular tourist sites are the tip of the iceberg, and the real destinations are hidden in the unknown parts.

The second part of our Hanoi Jeep Tours takes you to pass by the MUST-SEE places of Hanoi, including the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, the Tran Quoc Buddhist temple, the amazing Hanoi TRAIN-STREET, the enchanting French Quarter, the hustling and bustling Old Quarter, the romantic lakes of Hoan Kiem and West Lake, Hanoi Opera House, and the famous Long Bien bridge, etc.

DAY 2: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE (B/L/D)

06:30 – 07:00: Pick up from Hanoi Old Quarter and depart for Sapa by a comfortable sleeper bus.

13:00: Arrive in Sapa, meet your local guide, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

14:30: Begin your exploration of Cat Cat Village:

  • Visit Tien Sa Waterfall, a picturesque spot nestled in the mountains.
  • Explore Cat Cat Hydroelectric Station, built by the French in the early 20th

  • Y Linh Ho Village – a remote area with breathtaking views.

  • Walk along Muong Hoa Stream and experience stunning natural landscapes.

DAY 4: FANXIPAN – RETURN TO HANOI (B/L/-)

08:30: Meet your driver and guide for the transfer to Fansipan Cable Car Station.

09:00 – 11:30: Embark on your journey to Fansipan Peak:

  • Take the modern cable car to 2,800m, admiring breathtaking views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.
  • Visit Kim Son Bao Thang Pagoda and explore the spiritual complex.

14:45: Explore Titop Island Clients will visit Titop Island. In there you can swim or hiking to the top of Titop Island to have over view of the bay.

15:45: Explore Sung Sot Cave You will visit an impressive Cave of Halong bay – Surprising Cave (Sửng Sốt) with your tour guide, a truly awesome and amazing cave to experience.

17:15: Tea Harmony party with Art of Tea Workshop

DAY 6: LUON CAVE - HALONG BAY AND DEPATURE (B/L/-)

06:00: Do exercise Warm up your day with a practice Vovinam on the sundeck with a breathtaking view as the sun rises on Halong Bay.

06:30: Have breakfast Morning view of beautiful landscape with a cup of coffee or tea. Have breakfast in the fresh air.

07:15: Visit Luon Cave Start your exciting journey at Luon Cave – the cave with the most unique architecture in Ha Long Bay. Here, visitors can kayak or sit on a bamboo boat.

09:30: Check out of the cabin and our boat begin cruising back to harbor and experience viewing other areas of Halong bay such as Fighting Cocks island (Symbol of Halong bay), Incense Burner, Stone Dogs island.

09:45: Have brunch Lunch is served on board during cruising towards the harbor.

10:00: End of the journey Depart the Halong Ruby Cruise and travel by tender boat back to Ruby cruise’s waiting lounge

DAY 7: NINH BINH: HOA LU – TAM COC – MUA CAVE (B/L/-)

07h15 – 8h00: Pick up from your hotel in the Old Quarter area and departure for Ninh Binh.

09h15: Have a short break for relaxing at a stop-over about  20 minutes.

10h00- 10h30: Arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, visit the temple of King Dinh and King Le. Under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about the Vietnamese history. Taking a bike and start riding to explore the beautiful scenery and limestone mountains with an unique route.

12h00: Enjoy buffet lunch at a local restaurant – goat meat dishes is the local specialty ( Vegetarian foods are avaiable )

13h30: Visit Tam Coc by a Sampan boat rowed by a local people for about 1.5 hours.  Known as “Halong Bay on land”, the boat trip is a nice journey along the river with the peaceful scenery of Limestone Mountains, rice paddy if traveling during harvest season.

15h45: Get back to Limousine Bus then leave for Mua Cave. Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here

17h00- 17h30: Leave Ninh Binh and drive back to Hanoi.

19:00 – 19:30: Arrive in Hanoi, drop you back to your hotel.

DAY 8: HANOI OUTSKIRTS & BAT TRANG CERAMIC VILLAGE JEEP TOUR HALF-DAY (B/L/-)

7:45 – 8:15: Pick up at Old Quarter by tour guide. Begin your adventure in Ha Thai village, renowned for its lacquerware production since the 17th century. Meet a celebrated local artisan who will introduce you to this traditional art form. Under their expert guidance, you’ll have the opportunity to create your own lacquer painting as a unique souvenir.

Next, journey to the 300-year-old Chuong village, famous for its conical hat making. Wander through the village and, depending on availability, either visit a war veteran to hear personal stories from the Vietnam War or meet other local artisans to learn about their daily lives.

Enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch prepared by a local female artisan, immersing yourself in authentic Vietnamese hospitality. After lunch, try your hand at painting your own hat or join in the hat-making process with guidance from skilled craftspeople. DAY 11: CHAM ISLAND SIGHTSEEING AND SNORKELING TOUR ( B/L/-)

07:30: Driver will be picked up at the rendezvous in Danang, and then we start Cham Island tour by departing for Cua Dai port in Hoi An. On the way to Hoi An

09:00: Going to Cham Island, you will experience the feeling of riding on the surf waves by high speed canoes, heading to this island. The island has many beautiful corals. There is a stunning scenery along with about the way. There are around 3.000 people living at Lang.

At Lang beach, we will visit interesting places such as sea food market. Then we will arrive at restaurant

11:00: Swimming and snorkeling around 40-60 minutes

12:00: You will enjoy lunch with special seafood before heading back to Hoi An.

14:00: Packing luggage for return trip to Hoi An.

14:30-15:30: Return to Da Nang

DAY 12: MARBLE MOUTAIN - COCONUT JUNGLE - HOI AN CITY - BOAT RIDE & RELEASE FLOWER LANTERN (B/-/D)

13:30: The driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Danang. The first stop is the Marble Mountains and Am Phu Cave. Admire beautiful caves and historic Buddhist pagodas, spend time exploring and absorbing knowledge about religions, and gain insight into the differences between Buddhism and Hinduism.  Move to the Stone Carving Village of Non-Nuoc, where you can admire stone-fine art and buy some nice souvenirs.

16:00: Continue your adventure with Cam Thanh Coconut Jungle and spend your time enjoying the peaceful, green space of Coconut Forest and the hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing, especially basket boat rowing.

17:30: Then Hoi An Ancient Town welcomes you to visit Hoi An Central Market, Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, Phung Hung ancient house, the Japanese Bridge, Museum of Folk Culture in Hoi An, etc. Especially, you will enjoy art shows at Hoi An Traditional Performing Arts House. Walk around the historic old town and be amazed by the influences from China, Japan, and Vietnam.

18:30: Enjoy your time with the boat ride on the Hoai River and release the flower lanterns to pray for good luck for you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of the lantern street. Free your time with the night market and enjoy the shimmering space of Hoi An.

19:30: Have dinner at the local restaurant.

20:00 – 20:30: Finally, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel..

DAY 13: BANA HILL (B/L/-)

Have breakfast at the hotel.

The car will pick you up the hotel in Da Nang visit Ba Na Hills

Upon arrival at Ba Na Hills, you will take the cable car, which holds 4 world records, including the longest single-wire cable car system.

Arrive at Station 2 at an altitude of 1,138 meters, where you can visit:

  • Debay Wine Cellar (built in 1923, entrance fee is 100,000 VND if you visit)
  • Le Jardin D’Amour Flower Garden (a vast flower garden), and more.
  • The highlight of the tour is the Golden Bridge (Hands of God). Afterward, you will continue to visit Linh Ung Pagoda.

After the visit, you will have lunch at a restaurant and take a short rest.

Next, you will conquer the peak of Chua Mountain, at 1,487 meters, the highest peak in Ba Na. Here, you will visit Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple to enjoy tranquility and peace, relax your mind, and leave your worries behind.

Continue to explore French Square and play some games at Fantasy Park.

Finally, you will take the cable car down the mountain, and the car will take you to your hotel in Hoi An.

Upon arrival in Danang, the driver will take you to an Indian restaurant of your choice for dinner at your own expense.

DAY 14: DANANG - HUE FULL DAY (B/L/-)

07:30: Pick you up at Da Nang and depart to Hue city (about 102 km to the North of Da Nang).

On the way, the car will stop to visit some beautiful attraction such as: Hai Van pass – is an approximately 21 km long mountain pass on National Route 1A in Vietnam. It is the natural border of Thua Thien-Hue Province and Danang City, one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam.

And sightseeing Lang Co beach – With more than 10 km long white sand beach and blue sea water, Lang Co beach is an ideal place for relaxing, taking photos.

10:30: You will visit the Khai Dinh tomb, the tomb had elements of eastern art mixed with western designs.

12:00: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a Local Specialty Restaurant serving Hue style dishes.

13:00: You will continue visiting Hue imperial city – the palace of 13 Nguyen Kings with Ngo Mon Gate, Library, Thai Hoa palace, Nine Dynastic Urns and visiting Thien Mu pagoda associated with culture and history of Hue.

DAY 15: FLY FROM DANANG TO HO CHI MINH. FREE TIME (B/-/-)

DAY 16: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR FULL DAY (B/L/-)

In the morning:

  • At 8.00 am : Our Guide and car will meet you at your hotel in HCM city center and start the tour to explore HCM city. The first place to visit in the tour will be the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975. After Reunification Palace, you can walk to see some French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Central Post Office.
  • Continue on to Chinatown, Thien Hau pagodas, which is dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea. Explore the highlights of this fascinating area, beginning with intricate friezes, carved tableau and impressive incense coils make for some great photos. Then observe street life through the narrow streets to Binh Tay market that sells everything from clothes to dried squid.

In the afternoon:

  • Have Lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to visit War Remnants Museum where there is a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. In courtyard massive military vehicles are for exhibition as well as tiger cages for the visitor to get a feel on how it was to be a prisoner during wartime. In the museum building itself, each floor will represent a separate theme from the war and the war crimes committed towards the Vietnamese people. We end the city tour with Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sale.

DAY 17: CU CHI TUNNEL HALF DAY (B/L/-)

7:30 – 8:00: Pick-up time. Depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. Take an excursion to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network built by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.

Walk through sections of the Cu Chi Tunnels, explore hidden corners, and imagine the life of resistance fighters underground. For an extra thrill, try shooting an authentic AK-47—a weapon once used during the war (optional, at your own expense)
