This city boasts a rich history spanning over 600 years with more than 63 kings who have reigned the ancient city. Notable locations to visit in Luang Prabang include Wat Xieng Thong, an impressive temple renowned for its intricate design and detailed craftsmanship, Pak Ou Caves, which houses thousands of Buddha statues, Kuang Si Waterfall, known for its stunning turquoise waters surrounded by lush greenery, and Royal Palace Museum, which is home to a variety of artifacts and exhibitions highlighting the history of the royal families. Additionally, visitors can experience local cuisine and crafts at the Ock Pop Tok Living Crafts Centre and take part in the Traditional Baci Ceremony to fully immerse themselves in the culture of Luang Prabang.

Day 1 :

Arrival – Luang Prabang

Upon arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, we will embark on a tour of the city's highlights, including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum which features a collection of fascinating artifacts from Luang Prabang's royal era. We will then continue on to explore the city's oldest temples, such as the stunning Wat Xiengthong with its classic Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, and the shrine of Wat Aham.
Next, we will ascend Mount Phousi to marvel at its sacred gilded stupa and take in the stunning panoramic view of the city and the Mekong River during sunset. Once we descend from the mountain, we will find ourselves at the renowned Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can discover unique handmade textiles and handicrafts created by both ethnic Lao and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Day 2 :

Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave

We will commence our day by embarking on a private boat that offers a delightful and picturesque cruise up the Mekong River, taking us to the enigmatic Pak Ou Caves. These caves have served as an ancient pilgrimage site for many centuries and are filled with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over time.
After returning to Luang Prabang and disembarking from our boat, you will have the option of visiting Ban Phanom - a village famous for its hand weaving - through a brief drive or enjoy some leisure time at your hotel.
For the rest of the evening, you may choose to explore the city on foot or by bicycle, indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment or massage, or simply unwind by the riverside with a couple of drinks. Overnight in Luang Prabang (B).

Day 3 :

Luang Prabang – Departure

This morning, we will make the most of our remaining time in Luang Prabang before your flight. We will start by visiting the Arts & Ethnology Centre to learn more about the local culture and heritage. After that, we will take a leisurely stroll through the Morning Market to soak up the vibrant atmosphere and perhaps pick up some last-minute souvenirs. Finally, we will provide a transfer to the airport for your departure, ensuring you have a smooth and worry-free journey ahead.
