Starting at 8:30 am, we will embark on a journey to discover the rich cultural heritage of Vientiane. Our first stop will be Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple in Laos, and home to thousands of miniature Buddha statues that are sure to leave you in awe.
Next, we will visit the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which once held the famous Emerald Buddha Image. From there, we will drive past the imposing Patuxay Monument, often referred to as the "Arc de Triumph" of Vientiane, before reaching That Luang Stupa - a national icon of Laos that holds immense religious significance.
Finally, to wrap up our day full of exploration, we will take a leisurely walk along the Mekong riverside where we can admire the stunning sunset over the water. We will spend the night in Vientiane, rested and ready to continue our adventure the next day.

Following a satisfying breakfast, we will depart the city and journey towards Nam Ngum - a vast reservoir formed by damming the Nam Ngum River. Along the way, we will make a stop at Ban Keun, known for its renowned salt extraction facility.
Upon reaching Nam Ngum Lake, we will board a long-tail boat that will take us on an exciting journey through fishing villages situated across several islets. During this scenic ride, we will also take a short walk to explore the daily lives of local fishermen in the area.
After an eventful day, we will return to Vientiane in the late evening, leaving you with free time to enjoy the rest of your evening. We will spend the night in Vientiane, recharging for the adventures that lie ahead.

At 8:30 am, we will embark on a journey to explore the best of Luang Prabang's cultural heritage. Our first stop will be the Royal Palace Museum, which houses a fascinating collection of artifacts dating back to the Royal period in Luang Prabang.
Next, we will cycle through the city to visit some of its oldest and most magnificent temples, including Wat Xiengthong - a stunning example of classical Lao architecture with its low-sweeping roof, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, and the revered shrine of Wat Aham.
Our next destination is the top of Mount Phousi, where we will climb up to explore the sacred gilded stupa and admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the Mekong River.
As we descend the mountain, we will arrive at the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can find an eclectic selection of handmade textiles and handicrafts created by both ethnic Lao and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.
The rest of your evening is free to explore the city or relax at your hotel. We will spend the night in Luang Prabang, refreshed and ready for another exciting day.

This morning, we will embark on a private boat for a serene and picturesque cruise up the Mekong River to reach the enigmatic Pak Ou Caves. These ancient caves have been a place of pilgrimage for many centuries and are adorned with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left over by devotees across time.
Upon returning to Luang Prabang, we can either take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village renowned for its traditional hand weaving, or return to our hotel to enjoy some free time at our leisure.
As the evening approaches, you can explore the city on foot or by bicycle, indulge in a soothing spa treatment or invigorating massage, or simply unwind with a few drinks along the riverside. We will spend the night in Luang Prabang, ready for more adventures tomorrow.
