Day by day itinerary

Day 1: Airport pick up – Check in Hotel in Hanoi (Meals: No)

Welcome to Hanoi! On the first day, we will pick you up from the airport and then take you to your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter – the most exciting place for tourist. Once you have checked in, the rest of the day is free for you to rest or explore the city and form your own first impressions of Vietnam. Stay overnight in Hanoi and get ready for an exciting adventure!

Day 2: Hanoi – Ha long Bay - Lan Ha Bay (L, D)

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, our tour guide and bus will pick you up from your hotel at 9:15 AM to begin your journey to Ha Long Bay. During the drive, you will have the opportunity to view the simple countryside and rice paddy life along the way. After arriving in Got Ferry Terminal, you will board to your cruise and begin your cruise through the stunning Ha long Bay, a World Heritage Site. Enjoy your welcome drink while getting a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Lunch will be served on board and will consist of a selection of the freshest seafood. At around 4:00 PM the cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay and completes its entry through Cua Van Area-an area that is surrounded by extraordinary limestone karsts landscapes.

NOTES:

From October to May: You can start your journey to explore Ba Trai Dao Beach, enjoy kayaking and/or enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Bay.
From June to September: We progress to Tra Bau area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Ha long Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam, enjoy kayaking and/or enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Bay. After kayaking and swimming, we will head back to the cruise for resting and staying overnight on the cruise. Feel free to enjoy the sunset party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruits, there’s a cooking class guided by our chefs on the cruise, you can learn how to make a Vietnamese’s special dish called Spring rolls. Tonight’s dinner is fresh local sea food prepared and served for you by our wonderful staffs. Afterward, you are free to relax in your cabin or join the fishing excursion, watch a movie, have a drink at the bar, internet access or play exciting games on the cruise. You will spend the night on the boat, taking in the stunning surroundings of the bay.

Day 3 : Dark & Bright Cave – Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/ L)

Wake up early in the morning to witness a beautiful sunrise and breathe in the ocean air while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee, Tai Chi lesson are available on the sundeck. After having breakfast with coffee and tea, we will arrive in Dark & Bright Cave- a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Once you arrive, a dazzling combination of white limestone karsts, emerald green waters and the dark mystery of the caves create a wonderful atmosphere making this a trip worth taking. The cave is named Dark & Light Cave because it’s actually a system made up of two separate caves. Dark Cave is 100 meters long with very little natural or artificial light so you will need a flashlight inside! Light Cave, on the other hand, is considerably shorter and has tones of natural light beaming through gaps and holes in the rock making it feel like a church carved by Mother Nature herself. Light Cave is always accessible whereas Dark Cave is sometimes swallowed by the tide. Passing through the caves you will see a sea valley surrounded by magnificent mountains. Take this opportunity to soak in your surroundings and make your trip an unforgettable one. Afterward, we’ll head back to our cruise to rest and relax. Lunch will be served on board and will consist of a selection of the freshest seafood. At 12:00PM, our driver will come to pick you up to take you back to Hanoi. You will arrive in Hanoi at 3:00 PM.

Day 4 Free day - night train to Da Nang (Meal: B)

Today, you are free to visit Hanoi Old Quarter, you can see the water puppet show or walk around and explore the old streets of Hanoi until your train to Da Nang comes, you will spend around 13 hours on the train, while the train is on its way to Da Nang you can take pictures and enjoy the view of our beautiful country along the coastal line. You will spend a night on the train and reach Da Nang train station at around 11:00 AM on the next day

Day 5: Pick up and transfer - check in hotel in Hoi An (meal: B)

After the train arrived on the next day, we will pick you up and take you to Hoi An Ancient town-where you can check in and start exploring the town. Hoi An has been known as a charming and historic trading center that was once known as “Faifo” to the earliest Western traders. It was also an important port for the Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and other merchant vessels from the Far East.

Day 6 : Biking tour + Homestay (meal: B, L)

At 1:15 PM, we’ll meet up at 57 Ngo Quyen St. – An Hoi Islet- Hoi An city, Vietnam and start the tour at 1:30 PM. Today, we will spend a day and a half to immerse in the traditional Vietnam, far from the cities and regular day life, you will have the chance to experience the rhythm of the rural Vietnamese lifestyle, experience their everyday lifestyle and learn about local traditions and culture. We’ll start to leave at the beginning of the afternoon for a cycling trip. You’ll discover the daily life of the countryside, while traveling through the islands of the Thu Bon river delta we can see the how the traditional wooden riverboats are made, see the secrets of working in mother of pearl, you also have a chance to practice making one of the Vietnamese basket boats. After crossing the floating bridge, you will meet up with the local Vietnamese family who will be your host for the evening. You can spend time accompanying them to fish on the river and watch the sunset or you can try to learn how to weave the colorful traditional soft rush sleeping mats or just simply take a short walk to discover the area. You will stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 7 : Biking tour - hotel in Hoi An (Meal: B)

Today is your biking day! You will bike through sceneries of rice fields, bamboo bridges, lush, green fields, dry sand areas until you reach a fishing village and a beautiful beach with breathtaking view on the side. Here, a family of fishermen will prepare your noon meal with fresh, local cuisines and the morning’s catch. After that, you’re free to dive yourself in the sea or sun bath to get a perfect tan or you can try to ride a basket boat-a boat that are made of fiberglass, canvas and composite produced by the local people. Afterwards, we’ll cycle along the beach to meet up with the boat that will take us back to Hoi An, we’ll arrive in our meeting point (57 Ngo Quyen St. – An Hoi Islet- Hoi An city, Vietnam)

Day 9 : Mekong delta tour - Cai Be floating market (meal: B, L, )

We will pick you up at your hotel between 7:30AM to 8:00AM and start a full day to explore the Mekong Delta, on the way you can see the green paddy fields stretching towards the horizon .After 3 hours of driving, we will arrive in Cai Be Floating Market – a large section of the Tien River that are vibrant with boats filled with fruits, vegetables, flowers and other products. Going to the floating market on these days, you can see the busy rhythm of the life of people living on the river and the unique features of the Mekong Delta. This is also the most beautiful time at the Cai Be Floating Market, attracting many tourists. There is always a forest of flowers and people during market- days. The river becomes busy with boats carrying people, including buyers, sellers and visitors. The bright colors of the apricot flowers, daisies, roses and marigolds swinging on boats and junks bring a premature spring to the riverside hamlets and people. After that, we’ll relax and have lunch in a lovely orchard fruit garden and you’re free to ride bicycles to villages, sightseeing or relax on a hammock to regain energy after a lot of exploring and feel the peacefulness of the land. In the evening, we’ll take a boat along the Mekong River to visit Vinh Long market – the center of Vinh Long city, you can find anything you want, from fruits, local foods, fresh food. You should try local food like bún riêu, sương sa hạt lựu, Vietnamese sweet soup…They’re all in the market. After that, we’ll go across My Thuan suspension bridge and drop by Mekong Rest Stop before going back to Saigon.
